Help Support The Salvation Army Food Drive At Copps Coliseum Over The Next Three Home Games

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs and Bulldogs Foundation announced today that the Bulldogs $B!HMy Favourite Things$B!I raffle will begin at the 'Dogs game on Wednesday, December 9th.

Fans can purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win individual gift baskets that have been created by each player and consist of their favourite items. Some of the baskets that will be available include Ben Maxwell's which features NHL 2K10 for the Xbox 360, NHLPA apparel and a Rocky Mountain chocolate pack, Curtis Sanford's which has The Beatles Rock Band for the Xbox 360 and two Rock Band games and Yannick Weber's which has an assortment of many different kinds of Swiss chocolate. Raffle tickets will be available at the Bulldogs Foundation booth behind section 114 for the next three home games with the raffle draw taking place during the second intermission of the 'Dogs home game on Tuesday, December 15th. All proceeds will go to the Children's Aid Society of Hamilton.

Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Copps Coliseum for the next three home games to donate to the Salvation Army Food Drive. Volunteers of the Salvation Army will have collection boxes in the main entrance of Copps Coliseum. The Hamilton Bulldogs Organization has been involved in community food drives for a number of years and is excited about the prospect of lending a hand to the community once again. Please help stock food bank shelves in time for the holiday season. The Food Drive will run until Tuesday, December 15th.

The Hamilton Bulldogs and Bulldogs Foundation will hold a community practice from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 12th at J.L. Grightmire arena in Dundas, Ontario. The community practice will be held in support of Dundas' bid to be named Kraft Hockeyville 2010. Fans will be able to come and watch as coaches Guy Boucher, Daniel Lacroix and Martin Raymond lead the Bulldogs through a full team practice at J.L. Grightmire arena in which the players will be wearing unique $B!HGotta be Dundas$B!I Kraft Hockeyville practice jerseys.

The Hamilton Bulldogs will be hosting their annual "Stuffed Toy Toss Night" at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13th, 2009 when the club hosts the Abbotsford Heat at Copps Coliseum. Fans attending the game are asked to bring a stuffed toy to throw onto the ice when the Bulldogs score their first goal.

The Bulldogs host the Abbotsford Heat on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, TALK 820. Fans can also listen or watch at www.hamiltonbulldogs.com by clicking on the 'AHL Live' or 'TALK 820' icons on the Bulldogs website.
