Heat take 1-0 Series Lead in Western Conference Semifinals

Abbotsford Heat News Release
Toronto, ON - Abbotsford took a 1-0 series lead with their 3-1 win against Toronto as the Heat and Marlies opened the AHL's Western Conference Semifinals.
Max Reinhart scored his first Calder Cup playoff goal, Chris Breen tallied the eventual game-winner, and Guillaume Desbiens scored into the empty net for Abbotsford.
Danny Taylor made 31 saves on 32 shots en route to earning his fourth straight win in the playoffs, stretching his personal win streak to nine games and being named the game's first star.
Abbotsford and Toronto will face off in Game 2 of the best-of-seven series at the Ricoh Coliseum on Thursday with a 4:00PM PDT puck drop.
