November 28, 2015 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Harrisburg Heat News Release
The Harrisburg Heat fell 9-2 to undefeated Baltimore Saturday afternoon.
The Blast came into tonight's game with a record of 3-0 and the Heat with a record of 0-2. The Heat fell short of ending Baltimore's undefeated season.
The Blast led 3-0 at halftime, but the Heat would get their momentum going in the second half.
The Heat came out strong after halftime when Chris Hall found the bottom corner of the net less than one minute into the half.
Just two minutes later, Christopher Williams found Patrick Thompson in front of the goal. Blast keeper William Vanzela was out of place and Thompson finished it off for the Heat to leave them only trailing by one goal.
Just four minutes later, Levi Houapeu scored to put Baltimore in control for good. Houapeu had two goals for the Blast. Baltimore put in five more goals before the game ended.
The Blast also saw goals from Andrew Hoxie (2), Tony Donatelli, Onua Obasi, Juan Pereira, Jinho Kim and Vini Dantas.
William Vanzela got the win in the net for the Blast, and Scott Krotee took the loss for the Heat in his first game of the season.
The Heat continues their season on Saturday December 5 at 2:05 pm at the Farm Show Large Arena when they face off against San Diego.
