Havoc Look for Revenge During Two-Game Series

The Havoc wrapped up two separate season series over the weekend with games against the Columbus Cottonmouths and the Pensacola Ice Flyers. Friday night's contest marked the third shutout for Tyler Steel against the Cottonmouths and third overall this season. The Havoc recorded goals less than a minute apart from each other in the first and the second to take the 4-0 victory. The win snapped a four-game winless streak for Huntsville; their first of the season.

Saturday, the Havoc faced the Ice Flyers for the third time at the Von Braun Center and seventh time overall on the season. Huntsville registered the game's first goal for the second straight night, but stared down a one-goal deficit in the third. During the final frame of regulation, Eric Witzel scored his second goal in as many nights to send the game into overtime. Player/assistant coach Stuart Stefan needed just 37 seconds to register the big 4-3 win for the Havoc.

Vs. Fayetteville This weekend, the Havoc take on the Fayetteville FireAntz for the second time in the last three weeks.

The first meeting between the two clubs this season did not go the Havoc's way as the FireAntz registered five goals during a span of six and a half minutes in the first period.

Huntsville has won two of the last three meetings against Fayetteville at the Von Braun Center while registering a standings point in five of the last eight games in the Rocket City dating back to March 20th, 2015.

The Havoc have scored the game's first goal in two straight and five of their last seven games overall.

Dating back to last season, Huntsville registered the opening goal in four while winning three.

Huntsville is 5-3 at home against Fayetteville lifetime in the month of March while scoring four or more in seven of those games. The Havoc are averaging 3.66 goals for per game this season. The February 3rd meeting versus Fayetteville marked the first time this season Huntsville was held to less than two goals.

The Havoc, who have outshot their opponent in eight of their last nine games, have won the shotboard in six of the last eight meetings against the FireAntz dating back to October 24th, 2015.

Four of the last six meetings between the two teams have been decided by a goal. The Havoc are 9-4-1- 2 this season in one-goal games with four of those victories at home.
