AUSTIN, Texas, January 3, 2013 - Justin Harper made a game-winning four-point play with 16.1 seconds left in regulation as Idaho beat the Austin Toros 109-107. Austin (7-8) got two missed free throws and two missed shots from Spurs assignee Cory Joseph in the final seconds as the Stampede (3-12) secured their first road win of the year. Harper finished the game with 14 points.

Durrell Summers led the Stampede with 20 points, making 3-of-5 three-pointers. Idaho as a team made 12-of-26 from long-distance and the team shot a season-high 50.0 percent from the floor. Sean Evans had 14 points, Coby Karl had 13 points, six assists and three steals and Justin Holiday had six points, six assists and a block.

Off the bench, Carlon Brown, acquired just yesterday in a trade with Santa Cruz, scored 16 points, all in the second half when Idaho trailed by as many as 11. Seth Tarver had another strong game with 10 points in 21:35 off the bench while again taking on more enhanced ball-handling duties. Tyler Wilkerson (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Rick Jackson (10 points, 10 rebounds) each notched double-doubles.

The Stampede forced seven Toros turnovers in the final stanza, scoring nine points from those mistakes. Idaho, meanwhile, shot 10-of-19 from the field and held Austin to just six field goals in the last quarter. The Stampede still trailed by five, until Coby Karl hit a three-pointer with 1:29 left to get them within two. After two more Austin turnovers, Idaho finally took the lead back with the Harper four-point play.

Idaho plays the Tulsa 66ers tomorrow at 6 p.m. (MST). Each and every Stampede home and away game can be seen on NBADLeague.com live and for free.
