Halmo & Mignardi Named Co-Attackers of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named forwards Robby Mignardi and Michael Halmo Co Becker Shoes Attackers of the Week. The Attack won games last week against Plymouth (4-3 in OT), Guelph (5-2) and London (6-3), stretching their win streak to five games heading into the playoffs.
In three games last week, Halmo notched two goals and two assists en route to being named the third star in Friday's game and the first star in Saturday's game. Halmo's two goals gave him twenty on the season, the first time the Cambridge, ON. native has notched twenty goals in his OHL Career. Mignardi reached thirty goals for the second straight season on Saturday evening. The Richmond Hill native notched numbers 28 and 29 on Friday evening in Guelph before putting his 30th of the season into an empty net on Saturday. The overage forward also picked up two assists in Saturday's 6-3 win over Guelph and also broke the Attack's single season +/- mark with a +35 rating, previously held by Bobby Ryan at +33.
The Attack's first home playoff game versus the London Knights is this Friday, March 25th. Game time is 7:30pm.
