Gwinnett's Lee Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Mike Lee of the Gwinnett Gladiators is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Oct. 22-28.
The 22-year-old went 2-1-0 with one shutout, a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .955 in three appearances last week, helping the Gladiators move into first place in the South Division.
Lee opened the week with 17 saves to record his first professional shutout in a 3-0 win at Evansville on Wednesday. On Friday, he made 18 saves in a 4-2 win at Fort Wayne and he ended the week with 29 saves in a 1-0 loss against the Komets on Saturday.
A native of Roseu, Minn., Lee has appeared in six games with the Gladiators this season, going 3-2-1 with one shutout, a 2.17 goals-against average and a save percentage of .916.
A third-round selection (91st overall) by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Lee spent the previous three seasons at St. Cloud State, posting an overall record of 32-29-9 with four shutouts, a 2.65 goals-against average and a save percentage of .917.
Lee was part of the United States gold-medal squad at the 2010 World Junior Championships, where he saw action in five games, posting a goals-against average of 2.50 and a .908 save percentage.
