Groove Picks Up Conley, Waives Anderson

GREENVILLE, S.C. (November 22, 2002) - The Greenville Groove has added forward Robert Conley to its roster, according to an announcement today by National Basketball Development League Executive Director Karl Hicks and Groove Head Coach Tree Rollins. Greenville also waived forward Christian Anderson.
A Division II All-America selection out of Clayton (Ga.) State University, Conley has played internationally and was a member of the Memphis Grizzlies summer league roster this year. As a senior at Clayton State, he averaged 24.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Conley, who prepped at Columbia High School in Atlanta, shot 55-percent from the floor as a senior at Clayton State.
Anderson averaged 3.0 points and 1.3 rebounds in three games for the Groove this season.
Conley will join the Groove for tonight's game in Fayetteville and will wear jersey number 3.
