Grizzlies Head Back to California; Home December 15 for Five-Straight

The Situation

The Grizzlies head back to Ontario and Stockton for the second time in three weeks after winning in both locations over Thanksgiving weekend. The Grizzlies sit at 11-6-3-1, one point behind Idaho for first place in the division and the conference.

The Tuzzolino Report

Nick Tuzzolino has a seven-game scoring streak with two goals and eight assists. The scoring streak is the third longest in the league. Victoria's Rob Hennigar leads the league with a nine-game scoring streak.

Tuzzolino Part 2

Tuzzolino is an even or better in 15 of 16 games this year with Utah with four goals and nine assists. He currently ranks seventh among ECHL defensemen in scoring. The Grizzlies acquired him in a trade from Wheeling in late October.

Who Else Is Hot

Tim Crowder has three goals and two assists in his last four games. Rookie Tyler Ruegsegger has a five-game scoring streak with two goals and four assists.

Special Teams Update

Utah is 17 for their last 18 on the penalty-kill to move to the tenth spot in the league. The Grizzlies power-play has risen to fourth in the ECHL at 22.9-percent.

Back On The Road

The Grizzlies head back on the road where they lead the league with a 10-2-1-1 record. Utah won 7-3 in Ontario Sunday, November 28 and 3-2 in Stockton Friday, November 26. Utah is 6-1-0-1 this year in California.

Back Home?

Utah returns home to open a five-game home stand Wednesday, December 15 with Las Vegas to start a stretch of five home games in eight nights.
