Game 3 TONIGHT 7 p.m. Van Andel Arena
- Fresh off their weekend sweep of Games 1 and 2 at Hamilton, the Griffins return to Van Andel Arena tonight to host Game 3 of the North Division Semifinals. Game 4 (Wednesday) and Game 5 (Friday, if necessary) will also take place in Grand Rapids.
- Tonight will mark just the second home game for the Griffins since March 21, as they've played 11 of their last 12 contests away from Van Andel Arena. It's also the Griffins' first home playoff game since April 27, 2007.
- AHL All-Rookie Team member Justin Abdelkader leads Grand Rapids with five playoff points, ranking first among league rookies and tying for second overall on the circuit. All five of his points have come during the third period.
- The first 1,500 fans tonight will receive a poster celebrating the Griffins' first 100 NHL alumni, courtesy of Grand Valley State University.
