GreenJackets to Host 4th Annual BuzzFest at the Lake

AUGUSTA, GA- The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, have announced the 4th Annual BuzzFest, Preseason's Biggest Party presented by the Augusta Chronicle, HD 98.3, Kicks 99, WRDW Channel 12/WAGT NBC 26 and Fleet Feet Sports. BuzzFest will take place from 9 AM (Start of Shamrock BuzzFest 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run) to 2 PM on Saturday, March 18th at Lake Olmstead Stadium.

At BuzzFest, single-game tickets officially go on sale for all 70 GreenJackets regular season home games including the Last Opening Night at Lake Olmstead Stadium, Mega-Memorial Day Fireworks, Jon Lester Bobblehead Night (SRP Federal Credit Union), Fourth of July and the last regular season home game at Lake Olmstead Stadium. Presently, tickets are only available by purchasing a 2017 ticket package, which range from 6 games all the way up to a Full Season Plan and group packages. Tickets will be available online starting Monday, March 20th.

Leading up to the 4th Annual BuzzFest, the GreenJackets will be releasing special announcements about the 29th and Final Season at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The GreenJackets home opener for the final season at Lake Olmstead Stadium will be on Thursday, April 13th against the Columbia Fireflies (New York Mets) with first pitch slated for 7:05pm.
