GreenJackets Play Host to Local High School

AUGUSTA, GA- The Augusta GreenJackets have released the 2017 High School Amateur Baseball series presented by Augusta University Health. As Opening Day for the GreenJackets draws near, Lake Olmstead Stadium will be hosting Junior Varsity and Varsity games over the next two months including the following schools: Augusta Prep, Briarwood, Cross Creek, Glasscock, Lincoln County, Saluda, Strom Thurmond and Washington County.

"Spring is in the air and we look forward to hosting high schools from throughout the CSRA at Lake Olmstead Stadium to showcase their talents and raise funds in 2017," stated Tom Denlinger General Manager. "We encourage the CSRA to come out and support the local high schools as they get to experience playing on a professional field & create a night of memories."

"Augusta University is dedicated to creating unique and lasting experiences in and out of the classroom. This is just another way we provide these experiences to our local baseball student-athletes," said Brian Marshall, Marketing Strategist for Augusta University, "we hope everyone Brings Their A Game!"
