Great Smoky Mountain Auto Fest Returns

SEVIERVILLE - The Tennessee Smokies have announced they will host the Great Smoky Mountain Auto Fest "Reunion" presented by Precision Rod and Custom alongside The Diner Rats Car Club, Inc. on Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 23 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The two-day auto event will feature Share the Ride where attendees can go for a ride in one of two new mustangs around the autocross course for no additional charge, made possible by BF Goodrich Tires. Other Auto Fest festivities will include a swap meet and car corral, a 50/50 giveaway, other various cash giveaways, Diamond 5, special awards, live music and door prizes. 24-hour security will be provided and there will also be a special barbecue buffet on Saturday night at 5 p.m. for registered participants and vendors.

Fans are encouraged to register for the Auto Fest as soon as possible, as registration for the event is limited to the first 800 cars. "The Great Smoky Mountain Auto Fest is an open car show that creates a friendly atmosphere at a great location," stated Diner Rats Car Club Member Chris Nash. "We look forward to hosting and growing this event for many years to come." Early registration (September 1) will cost $35 and provides purchasers one ticket to the barbecue buffet, as well as a free t-shirt. Those who pre-register can purchase additional buffet tickets for $10 and t-shirts for $15. For those who register on the day of the show, pricing will be $40 with options to add a meal at the buffet for $12 and the giveaway t-shirt for $15.
