Grant Duff Returns To Trenton

The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced today that RHP Grant Duff has been reassigned to Trenton and RHP Paul Bush has been placed on the 7-day DL Retroactive to May 30.

Duff, 27, began the season with the Thunder as the teams closer. The RHP converted six saves in seven opportunities while posting a 2.41 ERA before getting promoted to Triple-A. Duff made four appearances for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and allowed four runs in six innings .Despite spending time in Scranton, Duff is still tied for the Eastern League lead with 18 games finished.

Paul Bush began the season on the DL before being activated in late May. The RHP tossed three innings and allowed five runs with four walks for Trenton. The move is retroactive to May 30.

The Thunder begin a six game homestand tonight and will host the Portland Sea Dogs in a three game series. Trenton will have RHP Hector Noesi (0-0, 7.50) against TBA for Portland. All the action can be heard on the Thunder flagship station 107.7 FM or online at www.trentonthunder.com
