The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster move affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Brad Goldberg promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
The first player from Chicago's 2013 draft class to reach High-A, Goldberg went 3-0 with a 1.42 earned run average in 12 appearances with Low-A Kannapolis. He struck out 37 in 25.1 innings of work, which calculates to more than 13 whiffs per nine innings. South Atlantic League opponents hit just .120 against the Beachwood, Ohio, native and Ohio State University product.
