Goaltender Martin Ouellette Returns to Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that goaltender Martin Ouellette has been loaned by the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL to the Royals. In a separate transaction previously completed, goaltender Mike Brown, who was signed by Reading to a Standard Players Contract yesterday, has been released from his SPC. Ouellette, a second year pro from Saint-Hippolyte, Quebec, was recalled to Lehigh Valley yesterday. This is the fifth time he has been loaned to Reading. In eighteen games with Reading, he has gone 8-7-2-0 with a 2.00 goals against average (fifth best in the league), a .916 save percentage and three shutouts.

Reading returns to action tomorrow (Friday, January 29, 2016 @ 7:00 pm) when the team will face the Adirondack Thunder at Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York. Friday's game night broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Highmark Blue Shield at 6:30 pm. As with all Royals' road games this season, Friday's game will be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV courtesy of Boscov's Travel and Apple Vacations.
