CHANTILLY, VA - The Washington Glory could not get the bats going as they fell to the Venezuelan National Team, 5-2, Thursday night at the Westfield Softball Complex.

Sarah Pauly , who relieved Mowatt to start the sixth inning, allowed just two hits, and struck out five in two innings, including a solo home run by Geraldine Puerta in the seventh inning.
