Gladiators Acquire O'Neill from Las Vegas

The Gwinnett Gladiators have acquired goaltender Jody O'Neill from the Las Vegas Wranglers in exchange for future considerations.

O'Neill has earned a 0.87 goals against average and a .974 save percentage in three games with Las Vegas this year. He has notched a 2-0-0-0 record and one shutout with the Wranglers. He also appeared in one game with Stockton earlier this season and also appeared in one game with the Thunder last season.

The Nepean, Ontario native played four years at Dartmouth College from 2008-2012. He had a career year in his senior season as he notched a 2.50 goals against average and a .921 save percentage in 13 games. In 69 career collegiate games with Dartmouth, O'Neill earned a 2.98 goals against average and a .914 save percenteage.

O'Neill should be available for the Gladiators for Thursday's 7:05 p.m. start in Orlando against the Solar Bears.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
