LOS ANGELES, Calif.- LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos will be featured in one of ESPN's two new "This is SportsCenter" commercials alongside Mexican boxing legend and ESPN analyst Julio Cesar Chavez, SportsCenter hosts Tony Cherchi and Alvaro Morales, and Raza Deportiva and Nación ESPN host Mauricio Pedroza. The spots debut today on ESPN Deportes and ESPN in Mexico and Central America.

Dos Santos and LA Galaxy mascot Cozmo will star in the spot, titled "Gio's Playground." During the 30-second ad, they practice for the upcoming MLS playoffs, but, in an office setting. Out of the soccer field, they both face a different challenge, an authoritative Julio Cesar Chavez, who with a simple yet powerful stare communicates to Gio that it is time to stop goofing around.

The commercials were created by ESPN's in-house marketing team. The "This is SportsCenter" franchise gives fans an inside peek at the Bristol campus and other ESPN offices around the world with a humorous spin on day-to-day life at ESPN.

Dos Santos and the LA Galaxy are in action again this Sunday, Sept. 25 on ESPN and ESPN Deportes when they host Seattle Sounders FC at StubHub Center at 1 p.m. PT.
