Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (November 25)- A full week is up ahead at the NYTEX Sports Centre as "Military Nights", laser tag and public skates fill up the venue for the Texas Brahmas.
The first night of "Military Nights" is tonight at the NYTEX Sports Centre when the Brahmas and Odessa Jackalopes battle on the ice at 7:05 PM. The Brahmas are offering half priced tickets for all military personnel at the NYTEX Sports Centre Box Office for both games (must present Military I.D. with purchase).
Texas has a tight schedule the next few days with four games in five days, but will have forward Anders Strome back as he was activated from IR today. The Brahmas also traded Kevin Cooper to the Mississippi RiverKings for future considerations.
Immediately following tonight's tilt, all fans in attendance are invited to a post game skate with the Brahmas. The skate will be free for all patrons and all Brahmas players will be in attendance and on the ice for the pre-Thanksgiving fun. Fans can bring their skates or receive rentals at no charge at the NYTEX skate counter.
On Sunday the Brahmas will complete the "Military Nights" series with a game against the Tulsa Oilers at 4:05 PM. At the conclusion of the game, the team will host a game worn jersey auction of the Brahmas special "Lady Liberty" jerseys. The auction will take place in Section D, behind the home bench.
*Also tonight, the NYTEX Sports Centre will be hosting a Laser Battle event from 5-8 PM and is open to all families in the Tejas Volleyball Arena.
