Lincoln Stars (27-20-5) | 5th - Western Conference
After falling, 2-1, to Bloomington last night, the Stars remain six points shy of a playoff spot with eight games remaining and three against teams in playoff position. Lincoln has lost three of its last five games and has gone 3-3-0 during its nine-game home stand. The Stars will look to their power play to rebound in tonight's game. Lincoln has the ninth-best power play in the USHL, but has gone only 3/24 (12.4%) in its last four games.
Bloomington Thunder (22-23-7) | 6th - Eastern Conference
The Thunder is the hottest non-playoff team in the USHL, going 3-0-2 in its last five games. Goaltending has been a huge factor in Bloomington's recent success as Logan Halladay has posted a 1.33 GAA and .952 save percentage during the point streak. On the flip side, the Thunder has scored the third-fewest goals in the league and has the second-worst power play in the USHL.
BLM: Wyatt Kalynuk - The Wisconsin commit played 55 games for the Stars during the 2014-2015 season. He is fifth among USHL defensemen with 30 points in 52 games.
LIN: Gustaf Westlund - The Michigan commit has points in back-to-back games. He is especially dangerous on the power play, leading the team with 16 points on the man advantage.
Roster Report - Mike Gillespie has been listed as injured since Feb. 19.
