CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (3-2-0-0) host the Stockton Heat (4-2-0-1) on Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena at 7 p.m. Tickets start at just $13 and are available at the Rabobank Arena box office which opens at 10 a.m. or online at AXS.com.

TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors begin a five-game homestand with their second meeting of the season against the Stockton Heat. Bakersfield is 0-1-0-0 against the Heat this season having dropped the season opener, 4-1, at Stockton. Over the past two seasons, the Condors are 8-3-1 at home against the Heat.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield swept Ontario last weekend on the road with a 2-0 shutout on Friday and a 3-1 victory on Saturday. G Nick Ellis stopped 32 shots on Friday for his first shutout of the season and followed it up with 35 saves on 36 shots the next night. D Ethan Bear registered his first multi-point night as a pro on Saturday with a goal and assist. C Chad Butcher and RW Braden Christoffer notched points in both games.
Stockton erased a two-goal third period deficit to earn a point in a 4-3 shootout loss to San Diego on the road Wednesday. LW Andrew Mangiapane had a goal and assist in the loss as G Jon Gillies stopped 21 of 24. D Oliver Kylington had two assists.
ELLIS NAMED CCM/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
G Nick Ellis became the third Condors player in AHL history to receive the CCM/AHL Player of the Week award. Ellis stopped 67 of a possible 68 shots in two wins over Ontario, with his lone goal against coming with an extra attacker on Saturday. He is fifth among AHL netminders in both goals-against average (1.35) and save percentage (.956).
CONDORS NOTES
Tonight is the first of five straight at home for Bakersfield, who also host Texas and Manitoba before heading on the road for four straight. It's the team's longest homestand of the season... Bakersfield is 14-10-1 against Stockton in the AHL era... D Ethan Bear has two goals on two shots. He is second among rookies with a +6... RW David Gust leads all rookies with at least four shots in shooting percentage at 50% (2/4)... C Brad Malone will make his return to Bakersfield after spending the past three games with Edmonton... The Condors have surrendered the 7th fewest shots per game at 28 a contest.
HEAT NOTES
LW Andrew Mangiapane leads the AHL in scoring with 12 points (4g-8a) in seven games. He has points in all seven games to pace the league in active scoring streaks as well... RW Garnet Hathaway is tied for the league lead in plus-minus at +10... The Heat are the second most penalized team in the AHL at 21 minutes per game... Stockton is tied for third in shorthanded goals with two. They are tied for 6th in goals per game at 3.86.
