TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (35-12-3-2=75 points) will play the Colorado Eagles (24-24-1-2=51 points) for the fourth time this season and second at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Reign are 3-0-0-0 against the Eagles so far.

HOW THEY RANK:

The Reign are first in the Pacific Division, second in the Western Conference, and second in the league with 75 points. Sitting at 51 points, the Eagles are third in the Mountain Division, sixth in the Western Conference, and 17th in the league.

MOUNTAIN VS PACIFIC:

The Reign have had an incredible Pacific Division record of 22-6-0-0 but against the Mountain Division teams they have had a bit more trouble with eight of their 12 total losses coming from Mountain teams. Their overall record against this division is 10-8-0-2.

TIME IN THE BOX:

The Reign have been back and forth in the league lead for penalty minutes. Ontario currently sits in second place with 23.96 per game and Colorado is right behind them with an average of 23.82 infraction minutes per game.

SHOOTING FOR A SHOOTOUT:

Ontario leads the ECHL with a 0.489 shootout win percentage after having eight games decided in a shootout. They have had 45 attempts and 22 shootout goals-for. Rookie Mario Lamoureux leads the team and is tied for the league lead with five shootout goals.

FACING THE EAGLES POWER PLAY:

The Eagles lead the lead with a 22.8% success rate on the power play. They have had 254 power-play chances with 58 conversions. The Reign have struggled a bit in this category with a 19.2 % success rate with 46 power-play goals on 240 opportunities. On the other side, the Reign have a consistent penalty kill at 83.4% while the Eagles are toward the bottom of the pack with a 78.5% penalty kill.
