ECHL Player of the Week - Americans forward Chris Crane has been named the Sher-Wood ECHL Player of the Week for the period of January 18th through January 24th. Crane had five goals, which included a shorthanded goal and a game winner along with three assists, last week to help lead Allen to a 3-0-1-0 record.
Head-To-Head - The Tulsa Oilers lead the season series 5-3. The two teams will meet a total of 15 times during the regular season with 9 of the 15 games at the BOK Center.
Back to Back to Back to Back - The Oilers took the first game of the four-game set this week with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday night at the BOK Center to grab a 5-3 season series lead.
Stopped at Seven - Chad Costello had his seven-game point streak snapped on Tuesday night in Tulsa. It was the longest point streak of the season for an Americans player.
Fantasy Sweaters - Americans players Joel Rumpel and Chad Costello will wear the ECHL MeiGray Fantasy sweaters tonight against the Tulsa Oilers. Joel Rumpel will wear the Golden Goalie jersey while Chad Costello will wear the Red Fantasy jersey with a special MeiGray logo. Both sweaters will go up for auction in March on www.echl.com.
Oilers Notes - The Tulsa Oilers are led by forward Dan DiSalvo, who has 31 points in 35 games and is a plus 19. Emerson Clark leads the team in goals with 16, and power play goals with 5. The Oilers are led in net by starter Kevin Carr, who has allowed just one goal in his last two starts against Allen.
