SECOND CRACK: The Vancouver Giants brought back hulking winger Taylor Crunk after releasing him earlier in the season with the acquisition of Trevor Cox. The 20 year old from California recorded 4 points in 15 games before he was released. Vancouver also acquired 20 year old Daniel Wapple to be their starting goaltender but an injury forced Wapple to end his season and thus, Crunk was given a second chance in Vancouver. Since returning with the Giants on January 3rd Crunk has 3 points in 8 games with 2 fighting majors.

NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING: The Medicine Hat Tigers learned on Tuesday morning that two of their skaters were ranked in the NHL's Central Scouting midterm rankings.
