The Green Bay Gamblers defeated the Dubuque Fighting Saints 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Resch Center. With the win, the Gamblers take a 1-0 lead in the best-0f-five series.
Scoring for the Gamblers were forwards Joey Marooney, Ryan Blankemeier and Sam Saliba.
Adam Huska recorded the victory between the pipes for the Gamblers with 29 saves on 31 shots on goal.
Game two is set for tomorrow night at the Resch Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05pm.
