Friday's Game Postponed Due to Weather, Doubleheader Saturday

Jackson, Tenn. - Game two of Jackson's series against the Mobile BayBears Friday has been postponed due to rain and the upcoming forecast. The Generals and BayBears will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 4:05 pm CT at The Ballpark at Jackson. Star Wars Night presented by Freed-Hardeman University is still on scheduled for Saturday, with twice the fun celebrating the iconic movie franchise and postgame fireworks to follow the second contest.

Madison Central Little League Night has been moved to Friday, May 6 when the Generals take on the Jacksonville Suns. All of Saturday's festivities will go on as planned. Honor Roll Night presented by Union University will take place between the two games of the doubleheader.

Jackson and Mobile will play a pair of seven-inning games in the first doubleheader of the year for the Generals. First pitch in game one is set for 4:05 pm CT. There will be approximately 30 minutes between contests.

The Generals will wear special Star Wars themed jerseys for the second game Saturday. The uniforms depict the battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader from the original movie. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off online after the game, with proceeds going to Treasure's Love Bears. The jerseys are already available to be bid on at generals.milbauctions.com.

After Friday's rainout, the Generals go for their sixth-straight home win and third in a row overall tomorrow. First pitch in game one from The Ballpark at Jackson is slated for 4:05 pm CT, and you can listen to all the action on the TJ Network (AM 1390, FM 94.1) in Jackson and online via the TuneIn Radio App starting at 3:50 pm CT with the Generals Pregame Show.

After all the fun of Freed-Hardeman Star Wars Night, Sunday is Family FunDay! Children 12 and under getting free admission, fun zone access, ice cream and the opportunity to play catch on the field! The series wraps up with a School Day Monday, May 2! Children who come with their class get free admission, and $6 lunch packs with a hot dog, chips and a cookie are available for purchase!
