August 7, 2016 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
El Paso Chihuahuas News Release

Colin Moran hit a two-out, two-run home run in the top of the 10th inning Sunday, as the Fresno Grizzlies beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 3-1 at Southwest University Park. The Chihuahuas have dropped six of their last seven games and now have a 4-2 record in extra-inning games this season.

The Chihuahuas trailed 1-0 with one out in the bottom of the ninth when Diego Goris hit a game-tying RBI single against Fresno reliever Jordan Jankowski. After an intentional walk loaded the bases, Jankowski got a strikeout and a groundout to force extra innings.

Fresno starter Mike Hauschild continued his dominance against El Paso this season, tossing 6.2 innings in a no-decision. Hauschild has not allowed any earned runs in 18.2 innings versus the Chihuahuas in 2016. El Paso's Bryan Rodriguez nearly matched Hauschild, allowing only one run in six innings of work.

Sunday was only the fourth time this season that El Paso was shut out. Nick Torres reached base four times in the loss, going 2-for-3 with a walk and a hit by pitch.
