Frenzy try again to solve Heaves

January 4, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Cape Cod Frenzy News Release

Bourne, Massachusetts: The Cape Cod Frenzy start off the New Year looking to rebound from an 0-4 December road trip, as they welcome the 14-3, #2 ranked Vermont Frost Heaves to Cape Cod. The Frenzy lost two home games to the Heaves back on November 25 and 26 by wide margins, but were missing key players. On last week's road trip, the Frenzy showed they were much more evenly matched with Vermont, despite dropping two close games.

"Hopefully having adequate rest and being in front of the home crowd will be enough to push us over the top and beat this team," stated Frenzy GM Ian McCarthy, "Of course we have to make our free throws too which were atrocious up in Vermont." Cape Cod is currently ranked #23 in the ABA Power Rankings with a record of 6-8.

Tonight's 7:05 PM will be at the Bourne Middle School located just off the Bourne Bridge Rotary. The first 200 Kids 13 or under will get in free for this special night but seating is limited.

On Sunday at Bourne Middle School, the Frenzy face the Newark Express with a 6:05 PM tipoff. For more information contact Frenzy GM Ian McCarthy at ian@capecodfrenzy.com or visit www.capecodfrenzy.com or www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
