Free Ski-Doo Contest and Fundraising Ugly Christmas Sweaters as Petes Take on London Knights
December 13, 2016 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Peterborough Petes News Release
Peterborough, ON- This Thursday, December 15, the Petes will take on the London Knights for the only time at the Peterborough Memorial Centre this season. The game, which is being broadcast across the country on Sportsnet360, is a great opportunity for local hockey fans to show their support for the team.
The Petes will be wearing Ugly Christmas Sweaters during the game. The special jerseys will be available for auction in the North Lobby during the game, with fourteen jerseys available for purchase online now. All proceeds from the auction will support Operation Christmas Child.
Thursday's game is also sponsored by Gateway Powersport & Marine. Gateway will be giving away a 2017 Ski-Doo MXZ Sport ($9,000 value) to one lucky fan during a free chuck-a-puck contest. To be eligible for the draw, fans must be one of the first 2,500 to enter the building in order to receive a free puck to throw during the second intermission.
Peterborough is riding a five game winning streak and currently sits in second place in the East Division. Thursday's game against London is the last home game before the holiday break, and there's no better time to show support for the team.
Cheer on the Petes by taking advantage of deals on the Holiday Flex Pack (it makes a great gift, too!), and be sure to download the new Petes Mobile App for Android or iPhone for the latest news, contests, info, and the Petes Loyalty Rewards Program.
