Four Rockies Named Pioneer All-Stars

SPOKANE, WA-Jim McCurdy, President of the Pioneer Baseball League, released the PBL's roster for the second annual PBL vs. NWL All-Star Game sponsored by America First Credit Union. The game will be played on August 2, 2016 at Lindquist Field, the home of the Ogden Raptors. Players from each of the eight PBL teams are represented on the 28-player roster. The named starting lineup for the game is comprised of the players receiving the top votes, as follows:
P - Jordan Desguin, Helena C - Meibrys Viloria, Idaho Falls 1B - Ibandel Isabel, Ogden 2B - Jonathon Piron, Grand Junction 3B - Manny Olloque, Idaho Falls SS - Jose Gomez, Grand Junction OF - Jahmai Jones, Orem DJ Peters, Ogden Aaron Schnurbusch, Great Falls DH - Mitch Hansen, Ogden
PBL All-Star Manager Shaun Larkin (Ogden Raptors) will determine the batting order for the team.
The remaining roster spots are comprised of the following All-Stars:
C-Ryan January, Missoula IF-Brady Conlan, Great Falls IF-Jasrado Chisholm, Missoula IF-Hector Vargas, Billings IF-Colton Welker, Grand Junction OF-Yeison Melo, Idaho Falls OF-Jose Siri, Billings P-Nate Bertness, Orem P-Colton Cross, Helena P-Jake Elliott, Great Falls P-Connor Grey, Missoula P-Dean Jackson, Missoula P-Andrew Jordan, Billings P-Alex Luna, Idaho Falls P-Aron McRee, Great Falls P-Antonio Santillan, Billings* P-Kenny Oakley, Grand Junction P-Nash Walters, Helena P-Roberth Fernandez, Ogden
Antonio Santillan, Billings Mustangs, has been promoted to Dayton and is unavailable for the PBL-NWL All Star Game. He is replaced by Roberth Fernandez, Ogden Raptors.
Shaun Larkin, Manager, is joined by the Ogden Raptors staff: Don Alexander, Pitching Coach; Pedro Guerro; Ausstin Chubb, Hitting Coach; Hosh Herzenberg, Assistant Pitching Coach; Yuya Mukaihara, Trainer.
Jim McCurdy, PBL President, stated, "I congratulate all of our players for their selection. We have a large pool of great players in the PBL. This roster is the 'best of the best.'
