Foster Earns First Bulls Call-Up of the Season

SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today that forward Adrian Foster was loaned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League. Foster is the first AHL call-up for the Bulls this season.

Foster, 31, was drafted 28th overall by the New Jersey Devils in 2001. This is season with the Bulls, he has 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 15 games. Foster has the highest points-per-game average on the team and is tied for third in assists. He registered a league-leading eight points last week. The Lethbridge, Alberta native spent the 2012-13 season with the Idaho Steelheads, finishing with 27 points (11 goals, 16 assists) in 26 regular season games. He then ranked first on the team in playoff points with 14 (5 goals, 9 assists) in 16 games. Foster ranked third on the Houston Aeros of the AHL with 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) in 70 games in 2007-08. He also finished third in scoring in 2008-09 on Salzburg of Austria with 43 points (19 goals, 24 assists) in 52 games. Throughout his career, he's totaled 88 points in 200 AHL games and 61 points in 98 games in Europe.
