Forwards Kevin Lynch & Ryan Martindale Loaned to Syracuse

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Thursday that forwards Kevin Lynch and Ryan Martindale have been loaned to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL). Both players appeared in games with the Crunch last season.
Lynch, 24, heads to Syracuse having totaled 26 points (8g, 16a) in 33 games with the Everblades this season. In addition, he was scoreless with two penalty minutes in five appearances with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) earlier this season. Last season, the 6-1, 205-pound center posted seven points (2g, 5a) in 11 games played with the Everblades, and four points (3g, 1a) in 53 appearances Syracuse. Lynch totaled 72 points during his four-year collegiate career at the University of Michigan from from 2009-2013. The Grosse Pointe, Michigan native is a second-round draft selection of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Martindale, 24, earns the call up posting 17 points (5g, 12a) in 22 appearances with the Everblades this season. Last season, Martindale registered 14 points (8g, 6a) in 19 games with the Crunch and 13 points (8g, 5a) in 45 appearances with the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). The 6-3, 207-pound center has totaled a balanced 67 points (30g, 37a) in 180 career AHL games, while logging 17 points (9g, 8a) in 39 ECHL contests with the Stockton Thunder from 2011-2012. The Oshawa, Ontario native was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
