Forward Nathan Moon Resigns with IceMen for 2013-14 Hockey Season

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- The Evansville IceMen have agreed to terms with forward Nathan Moon for the 2013-14 season.

Moon, 23, comes back to Evansville after playing in Europe during the early portion of the 2013-14 EIHL season with the Braehead Clan. In eight games with Braehead, Moon produced ten points on five goals and five assists, as his five goals tied for most on the team.

Moon appeared in 44 games with the IceMen in 2012-13, racking up 35 points on 16 goals and 19 assists. He was originally acquired by the team from the Cincinnati Cyclones in November.

The 5'11", 197-pound center played in 14 games with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL at the end of the 2012-13 season, recording four points on two goals and two assists.

The Belleville, Ont. native played 316 games with the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL from 2006-11. There, he amassed 332 points on 139 goals and 193 assists. During the 2004-05 campaign, Moon appeared in six games with the Wellington Dukes of the OPJHL.

The right-handed shooter is in line to call Evansville home for a second season, with Opening Night on the horizon, just over a week away.
