Spokane Chiefs News Release
SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced on Monday that they have acquired a fourth round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft from the Prince Albert Raiders in exchange for 19-year-old forward Curtis Miske.
"With the additions Riley Woods and Rykr Cole (in a trade with Regina announced Monday morning), we are over the WHL roster limit of 25 players and needed to move a player out," said Chiefs' General Manager Scott Carter. "Curtis will get the opportunity to play a bigger role in Prince Albert this year and moving forward, while we are able to acquire an asset for our scouting staff in the draft.
"We'd like to thank Curtis for his time in Spokane and wish him the best in Prince Albert."
Miske appeared in 154 games over three seasons with the Chiefs, scoring 22 goals and 36 assists for 58 points while picking up 70 penalty minutes. He recorded one goal and three assists in seven playoff games. He was originally a second round pick by Spokane in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.
