Forsythe Power Padres over Sacramento
June 10, 2013 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1) - Tucson Padres News Release
Logan Forsythe hit two opposite field home runs Sunday, propelling the Tucson Padres to a 4-2 victory over the Sacramento River Cats at Kino Stadium. The win brought the Padres (34-29) back to two games out of first place in the Southern Division.
Shane Peterson put the River Cats ahead in the top of the second on a two-run single to center. Forsythe got one run back in the third with a solo home run just inside the right field foul pole. The home run was Forsythe's first with Tucson. The Padres took their first lead of the series in the fifth inning when Jonathan Galvez laced a two-out double to left bringing home Mike Wilson and Cody Decker. Forsythe extended the lead to 4-2 in the seventh, launching a home run onto the music stage over the right-center field fence.

Starting pitcher Sean O'Sullivan (5-3) was the winning pitcher after allowing two runs in 6.1 innings. Sacramento's Justin Thomas (3-4) allowed three runs on six hits and suffered the loss.
