Former Knights Coach Moving Up the AFL Ranks

MACON, Ga. – The Nashville Kats of the Arena Football League have named former Macon Knights offensive coordinator Tres Sullivan to their staff. Sullivan, who was with the Knights in 2002 and 2003, will serve as the offensive coordinator for the Kats which are a 2005 expansion team.

Sullivan heads to Nashville after serving as the offensive assistant/special teams coordinator with the New Orleans VooDoo during the 2004 season. Sullivan helped the expansion-VooDoo to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth.

Sullivan spent two seasons in Macon helping guide the 2003 Knights to a 10-6 record and an American Conference championship. In 2002, he helped lead the Knights to a 13-3 record and an Eastern Division championship. During the 2002 and 2003 season, the Knights offense ranked in the League’s top ten in scoring offense, total offense, passing offense and first downs.
