Former Amerk and Sabre Andrew Peters to Sign Autographs at Next Legends Night

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that Andrew Peters, a former Amerk and Buffalo Sabres forward, will sign autographs prior to the Amerks game versus the Toronto Marlies on Friday, March 29 at The Blue Cross Arena as part of the next Seneca Casinos Legends Night.
The Seneca Casinos Legends Series is now in its fourth year and previously featured appearances by Amerks Hall of Fame inductees Dane Jackson and Rich Funke this season.
Peters played in 175 career games with the Amerks, recording 12 points on seven goals and five assists, along with 733 penalty minutes. He currently ranks 11th all-time in Amerks franchise history in penalty minutes.
After starting his professional career with the Amerks in 2000, Peters went on to play 229 career NHL games with the Sabres and New Jersey Devils, collecting seven points (4+3) and 650 penalty minutes. Since retiring as a player during the 2010-11 season, Peters has remained active in the Western New York community through his involvement in a variety of charitable endeavors and by serving as a co-host on Sabres Hockey Hotline on WGR 550 and The Enforcers on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, while also hosting the Backcheck Segment on YNN's Hockey Tonight.
