Ford Named Reebok/ECHL Goalie of the Week

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that goalie Todd Ford has been named the Reebok/ECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week of January 9 thru January 15. Forward Adam Courchaine also was named runner up for the In Glas Co/ECHL Player of the Week.
Ford posted a 4-0 record during the week with a 1.98 goals against average and .950 save percentage helping the Ice Pilots to their longest winning streak of the season at four games. Ford has an overall record of 9-10 this season with a 3.57 goals against average and .901 save percentage.
Courchaine scored two goals, six assists for eight points in the four games including one game winning goal and one power play goal. Courchaine has played in 21 games for the Ice Pilots this season scoring 12 goals, 13 assists for 25 points.
The Ice Pilots will continue their eight game road trip tonight at Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. central time. The pre game show on the Ice Pilots Hockey Network begins at 5:45 p.m. central time. Fans can listen to the game on AM 1620 and at www.icepilots.com sponsored by Sports Avenue. The game is also available as a pay per view webcast at www.icepilots.com in conjunction with B2 networks for $6.
The Ice Pilots next home game is this Saturday, January 21 vs. Gwinnett at
