Force Expose Lancers, 7-1

Fargo, ND - The Lancers and Force faced off for game one of the weekend series. Omaha called on veteran goalie Zach Driscoll to play between the pipes. Driscoll is ranked third in USHL among all goalies.

In the first period, Fargo struck first with a goal from Ben Meyers. Omaha answered back with a goal from Brendan Furry. Nearing the end of the first, AJ Drobot got the Force ahead 2-1 heading into the first intermission.

In the second period, Drobot got his second on the night. The scoring for Fargo continued with goals from Jacob Schmidt-Svejstrup and Mark Senden. The Force held the 5-1 lead into the second intermission.

Omaha pulled Driscoll and sent Vinnie Purpura into the net. The goals continued for Fargo from Ty Farmer and Evan Bell. The Lancers fell to the Force, 7-1.

The Lancers are now 31-15-2-3 with 67 points. Omaha is now in third place in the USHL Western Conference.

Zach Driscoll stopped 17 of 22 that he faced and Vinnie Purpura stopped 8 of the 10 shots.
