Huntsville Flight News Release

MOBILE, Ala. (Mar. 18) – Art Long tallied a team-high 22 points as Huntsville kept its playoff hopes alive with a 86-81 victory over Mobile here Tuesday night at the Mobile Civic Center.

The Flight (22-26) won for the third time in the last four games as Lonnie Harrell and Jermaine Walker added 13 points apiece. Brandon Williams, who was re-signed yesterday by the Flight after finishing a pair of 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks, tallied 12 points, while Bakari Hendrix added 11.

Mobile (24-23) got a game-high 25 points from Isaac Fontaine as Shea Seals and Aaron Owens collected 11 each and Derek Hood notched 10 points and 13 rebounds for the double-double.

After exchanging leads five times in the first quarter, the Flight went on a 10-2 run to end the first 10 minutes of play and lead 22-15 after a period. A 15-6 second-quarter run propelled the Flight advantage to double digits and they kept that cushion to at least 10 points until the fourth quarter.

A basket by Cedric Henderson midway through the fourth period carved the margin under double digits at 65-57 and the Revelers cut the gap to four late on a three-point play by Owens, but the rally was too late.

Huntsville shot 48.4 percent for the game as they converted 30-of-62 shots which overcame a Reveler performance at the foul line that netted 24-of-26 free throws for a 92.3 percentage.

In order for the Flight to make the playoffs they must win their final two regular season games -- Friday vs. Mobile and Saturday vs. North Charleston at home -- as well as having the Revelers lose their final three games and Asheville split its final two contests.
