Flash Bounce Back with Win Over Stampede

BOISE, Idaho, December 11, 2010 - The Utah Flash snapped a two-game losing streak with a 99-92 win over the Idaho Stampede. Kevin Kruger had 25 points along with seven rebounds to lead the way for the Flash.

Utah started out hot with taking a 19-5 lead, as Brandon Costner finished the first quarter with 11 points. The Stampede battled back to narrow the gap, ending the first half trailing by only one point.

Idaho kept the game close during the beginning of the second half, but Utah was able to push the lead to five points to start the final quarter. Brian Hamilton carried the Flash to the win with all 15 of his points coming in the second half. Hamilton also notched nine rebounds and four assists in the win.

Portland Trailblazers assignee Luke Babbitt led the way with 23 points and nine rebounds for the Stampede. Seth Tarver contributed 16 points and Carlos Wheeler had a team high 12 rebounds.

The Flash were led by Kruger's game-high 25 points, and Orien Greene notched a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists. Greene was only three rebounds shy of a triple-double with seven rebounds.
