Flames Release Bowers And Farynuk

Abbotsford Heat News Release
Moline, IL - The Quad City Flames announced today that defenseman Brad Farynuk and center Justin Bowers have been released from their Professional Try-Out Agreements (PTOs).
Farynuk played 17 games in a Flames sweater and recorded three points on a goal and two assists. Bowers appeared in 18 games as a member of the Quad City Flames and recorded seven points on four goals and three assists.
The Flames close out the 2008-09 season tonight in Des Moines vs. the Iowa Chops. Game time is 7:25 p.m. The radio broadcast begins at 7:00 p.m. with The Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show on 93.9 FM WYEC. Fans can also watch the game for just $6.00 at ahllive.com.
