Flames Recall Akim Aliu and Assign Blair Jones and Roman Horak

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled right winger Akim Aliu from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League and reassigned forwards Blair Jones and Roman Horak to Abbotsford.
Aliu has played 27 games this season with the Heat recording five points and 80 penalty minutes. Last season, he played in his first two NHL games with the Flames, recording two goals and an assist. Born in Okene, Nigeria, Aliu was acquired from Winnipeg by the Calgary on January 30th, 2012 in exchange for John Negrin.
