Flames Assign Goaltender Nick Schneider to Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned goaltender, Nick Schneider to the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League.
Schneider, a native of Leduc, Alberta, was signed by the Calgary Flames to an entry-level contract on September 23, 2015. Schneider, who spent most of his junior career with the Medicine Hat Tigers, was traded to the Calgary Hitmen on May 26, 2017. The 20-year-old played in a career-high 60 games for the Hitmen this season ending with a 20-29-2 record while posting a 3.64 GAA and .887 SV%. Schneider has played in nine games for the Stockton Heat in his career, all coming in 2015-16 where he sported a 4-5-0 record with a 3.92 GAA and a .876 SV%.
