Five Games Round out Final First Half Series

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Barons get set to welcome the Mississippi Braves to Regions Field for the final series of the first half; starting a five game set Wednesday, June 15th with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.
Following AAA Wednesday at the ballpark, the Barons will turn to Thirsty Thursday featuring a pregame performance from Little Raine Band along the first base concourse, presented by Birmingham Mountain Radio. Fans are welcome to enjoy $2 drink specials throughout the night thanks to Miller Lite, Woodbridge, and Buffalo Wild Wings, with first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m.
Friday Night Fireworks brought to you by Hibbett Sports, Alabama Power, and Coca-Cola return Friday, June 17th, with a pregame T-Shirt giveaway for the first 1,000 fans over 13-years-old presented by Serra Kia. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., with main gates opening at approximately 6:00 p.m.
The third game of the series also marks Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Night, as the Barons will wear special purple jerseys to be sold via silent auction benefitting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Roughly 30 minutes after the conclusion of the latest FIAT Friday presented by FIAT of Birmingham, the Barons will host a Boy Scout Campout on the outfield grass at Regions Field. For last-minute details and to secure your spot for an overnight stay at the ballpark, contact the Barons Group Sales department.
The always-entertaining Breakin' B-Boy McCoy returns to Regions Field for his lone performance of the season, highlighting the latest Saturday Entertainer Series presented by WIAT 42 and Red Diamond. The breakdancing bat-boy will perform throughout Saturday's game, which is slated to begin with a 6:30 p.m. first pitch.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the first 1,000 kids age 12 and under will receive a free baseball courtesy of Regions Bank.
Saturday the Barons are also offering a "Mommy-son Night" ticket package that includes two tickets, food and drink, plus a visit from Babe Ruff and Lillie Mays for just $30.00. Contact Claire at the Barons front office for further information.
Celebrate Father's Day with a game of catch at the ballpark Sunday, June 19th, on the outfield grass at Regions Field. Gates to the ballpark will open at 1:15 p.m., with the outfield being available to fans starting at 1:30 p.m. The first 1,000 folks age 13 or older through the gates at Regions Field will also receive a Barons grill apron presented by AAA of Alabama.
WBC World Heavyweight Champion of the World Deontay Wilder will be on hand to throw out the first pitch for a Salute to Armed Forces Sunday presented by NAPA. Former Vanderbilt University teammates and current top prospects Carson Fulmer and Dansby Swanson are set to face off as the Barons wrap up their series with the M-Braves at 3:00 p.m.
