NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Sounds return home to historic Greer Stadium this Friday, May 29 to open an eight-game homestand, during which they'll host series against the division-rival Omaha Royals (AAA-Royals) and Iowa Cubs (AAA-Cubs) after returning from an eight-game road trip.
Highlighting the week's worth of promotions will be two postgame fireworks shows, two giveaways, as well as two Purity Faith Night Concerts, featuring the bands Philmont and Tal & Acacia.
The Omaha Royals will return to face the Sounds for Friday's 7:00 p.m. homestand opener, after taking two of three from the Sounds earlier this season at Greer. Friday also means a dazzling fireworks display will immediately follow the game. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday's scheduled doubleheader with the Royals will consist of two seven-inning games, with the first contest scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. This will be the First Purity Faith Night of the season, featuring headlining music act Philmont. Combined with postgame fireworks, Saturday is another can't miss night at the ballpark with the Nashville Sounds! Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
