Fighting Saints Announce 2018-2019 Schedule

DUBUQUE, Iowa - Let the journey for a sixth Clark Cup championship begin! The Dubuque Fighting Saints, in conjunction with the United States Hockey League, have released the 2018-2019 schedule. A mix of classic, as well as exciting, brand-new promotional nights are on the schedule for the upcoming season, which will undoubtedly create tons of family-friendly fun, and be the source of unforgettable family memories all season long! The season begins with Opening Night, presented by American Trust, on Saturday, October 6 against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
"We are the tri-state's premier sports organization, committed to family-friendly entertainment, and this season, we believe we have a wide variety of promotional nights that will give families in this area nights to remember forever," said the Fighting Saints' President of Business Operations, Nick Shane. "We cannot wait for the season to begin in just a few short months, and we cannot wait to showcase our affordable brand of family fun to all of our fans."
Brand-new for this season is the addition of Family Value Fridays! Every Friday home game this season will provide great value for families all throughout the area. More details on Family Value Fridays will be coming soon. Additionally, all-new promotional nights are on the horizon as well, with more details on those nights to be announced throughout the offseason.
The schedule also includes the return of classic, community-focused promotions, such as the following:
- Military Appreciation Night, sponsored by Deery Brothers of Dubuque on Saturday, November 17, with a postgame jersey auction to benefit the Veterans Freedom Center in Dubuque.
- Teddy Bear Toss Night, sponsored by ImOn, with media partner Dubuque's Super Hits 106.1 FM, on Saturday, December 1, with all donations benefitting Toys for Tots in Dubuque.
- Mascot Mania, sponsored by Victory Ford on Saturday, March 23, a celebration of Bernie the St. Bernard and his best friends.
- Autism Awareness Night on Friday, April 5, with a fundraiser to help autism-related services in the tri-state area.
- Fan Appreciation Night, presented by American Trust on Saturday, April 13, with tons of giveaways and great memories to cap off the regular season.
