Titans Late Surge Lifts Them over Riverdrivers

Berlin opened up the game with a 1-0. Lead 7:23 into the first period when John Celli gave the home town boys the lead. The Ruverdrivers made it 2-0 at 13:09 of the first when Vojtech Zemlicka got his first as a Riverdriver. The rest of the first went to the visitors. At 18:03 on the power play Steve Brown made it 2-1. Then :34 seconds later Danbury's Taylor Bourne tied the game at 2 a piece.
Danbury started the second where they lead off. Just :22 into the second Matt Coleman gave Danbury a 3-2 lead. The Riverdrivers tied the game at 16:53 when Jiri Pestuka got his first goal since rejoining the riverdrivers. The game entered the final 20 minutes of play tied up at 3-3.
The final period went to the Titans. Danbury took the lead at 13:08 of the third when Alex Johnson gave the visitors the lead. Danbury extended their lead by two on an empty net goal. Steve Brown sent the puck the length of the ice on the empty net goal. Danbury skated off with the 5-3 victory.
Berlin is back o action on Saturday at 7:00pm for Breast Cancer awareness night.
Passingham Puts Up A Shutout Behind Strong Team Defense

Troy Passingham stopped all 28 shots he saw in the contest tonight. The Dashers team defense tonight was phenomenal as well, only allowing Passingham to truly be challenged an amount of times countable on one hand. Danville's Darius Cole had a goal and two assist in the contest, Eric Witzel had a goal, and Justin Brausen had one assist, accounting for Danville's offense in the 3-0 win. Andy DiCristofaro took the loss for the St. Clair Shore Fighting Saints.
Danville will have Thursday off to celebrate the holiday, and get ready for three straight home contest for the weekend, two being against Watertown, and one against St. Clair Shores.
