Fewer Than 1,000 Tickets Available For Saturday's Game Against Hershey

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that fewer than 1,000 tickets remain for Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Hershey Bears at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

Saturday is STAR WARS Night. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with movie authentic characters including Chewbacca, Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers. Darth Vader will even part take in a ceremonial puck drop.

Members of Garrison Excelsior of the 501st Legion will be selling lightsabers at the game for $5. Proceeds from the lightsaber sales will benefit A Room to Heal. The Broome County based charity, with the help of over 200 volunteers, has provided healing environments in the homes of 40 children suffering from a critical illness.

Also on Saturday, the B-Sens will have a pair of giveaways. The first 500 fans 18 years of age and older through the doors will receive a buy one, get one free lottery coupon courtesy of New York Lottery. The first 500 kids through the doors will receive a set of ThunderStix courtesy of H&R Block.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $19 for side seating and $18 for end seating. Fans can purchase tickets through the B-Sens' executive office, Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office and all Ticketmaster outlets during normal business hours, by visiting www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 607-722-SENS (7367) and through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.
